Each spacious condo and room features a color satellite/cable TV, stereo and a DVD/VCR player. In room video game rentals are available so you can leave all the game systems at home. There are video rentals available on property. Great for spending a night in.

You will have three accommodation types to choose from. Some offer more than others. There are a few choices from the regular guest room which comes with; stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, toaster and mini fridge, oh and can’t forget the coffee maker, pots and pans, utensils and plates. They also have a high speed wireless internet connection.

The Executive Club Level and the Suites feature all the electronic features of the guest rooms with the kitchens coming equipped with a coffee maker, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, and toaster. There is a wide variety of daily activities available for any age group. My favorite time is spent relaxing with the spa features of the Sauna and Whirlpool. Another great thing was having a convenience store on the property and a gift shop for that last minute souvenirs. Great Concierge Service helped us pick the perfect location to eat and dance and the kids love the Alligator Adventure that was recommended. They are available on site from 9 am to 9 pm. If you happen to be traveling by air no need to worry; the resort has a car rental desk (Enterprise) located on site from 9 am to 9 pm . From the airport it is about a 4 mile (6 kilometer) drive. It is just a short 10 – 15 minutes by taxi.  One-way should run about $10.00 (USD). The property has ATM/Cash Machine which is nice, so we did not have to find a bank.

The front desk had safety deposit boxes for any valuables we may have had too. Another nice feature we noticed in the heat of the summer was the resort had many public areas with A/C. Whether you want to soak up the sun, grill outdoors or take in a show the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort is the best spot to spend your holiday vacation. Obama signed last month a bill that provides emergency funding for the border security. McCain said that there have been things that were done right in this issue but he would like “more fence” and “more surveillance capability.”

McCain Urges Obama to Visit US-Mexico Border

The latest film from a Hollywood A-lister has taken in the top spot as indicated from the early estimates for the weekend. The actor is hoping that the film will help the people in the Italian countryside where it was shot.

Academy Award winner George Clooney leads the cast as an assassin in The American. The film raked in an estimate of 12.98 million dollars at its initial weekend. This is enough for the film to take the top spot with Takers trailing in behind at 11.45 million dollars.

Two other new entries are in the top five. At third is Machete with 11.3 million dollars while Going The Distance, which stars on/off dating couple Drew Barrymore and Justin Long, is at fifth with 6.8 million dollars. The Last Exorcism, which is in its second week, is fourth with 7.6 million dollars

The American was shot on several locations including in Rome, in Ostersund, Sweden and in the countryside of Abruzzo, Italy, a place that was devastated by an earthquake last year. Clooney and the filmmakers are hoping that the film will help back tourism in the area as the local people really need the financial help.
